The surgery has been providing care to the
local community since the 1970’s.
Started by Drs Fraser and Spencer-Smith in
premises over the Cadena bakery shop in Westbury
village, it has grown and developed with time,
necessitating moves to Cavendish Road and on to
Henleaze Avenue before Drs Peter Wilkins and
Chris Day successfully opened ‘Fallodon Way
Medical Centre’ on the 8th June 1987.
The current building was further extended in
the late 90’s to expand the space for
administrative staff, Practice Managers, a
larger waiting area for patients and a new
reception area.
The partnerships have changed over the years
but have always aimed to retain a traditional
family practice within a modern, well equipped
surgery. The practice prides itself on high
quality, caring family medicine with a modern
and evolving team, committed to effectively
managing the ever-increasing demands of modern
general practice.
