Changes to Ear Syringing at Fallodon Way Medical Centre

We are not contracted or funded to provide ear wax syringing or microsuction in General Practice at the present time.

Ear Wax is a nuisance problem that can cause temporary hearing impairment and affect the fitting of hearing aids.  Ear wax can be treated by Self Treatment ,Ear Syringing or Microsuction.

At Fallodon Way we recommend self treatment or private microsuction at Westbury on Trym Primary Care Centre or The Greenway Community Practice practice .

We are starting to provide a private microsuction service to patients not registered at Fallodon Way. (This is an identical service to the services provided above where patients registered at Fallodon Way can be treated.(see links above)

NHS treatment may be possible by referral to St Michaels Hospital but requires prior approval by the CCG see link below for details.
