We have recently set up a text messaging
service to enable us to send appointment
reminders and promote health campaigns to
patients with mobile telephones. The service
sends text messages, where patients can respond
quickly and easily by text or by phoning the
surgery.
We are keen to hold up-to-date land line and
mobile telephone numbers, where available and
would appreciate patients notifying reception if
they haven’t already done so.
Mobile numbers are important to the surgery,
for contact at short notice but should you not
want to receive text messages please let the
receptionist know or tick ‘opt out’ box on
change of details slip, available on the main
reception desk.
