What is WellAware?
- It brings together website links to women’s health information and signposting to local services and support in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and pan-BNSSG.
- It includes links to translated material in several community languages and British Sign Language.
- There has been input from public contributors, VCSE colleagues and local clinicians on content.
- It’s deliberately simple with the number of website links kept to a minimum to prevent overwhelm.
Women experience different health and wellbeing issues during their lives. The pages include links to information, and signposting to services and support in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. National services are listed through links, where available. Although the term women is used, we recognise that trans men, non-binary, intersex and gender-expansive people may find this information useful.
