Dr Powell graduated in Wales before coming across the bridge to enjoy her junior doctor years in Bristol and Bath. She has been a GP in a local practice in Bristol for 9 years before she came to join our partnership team in 2023. 

She has a special interest in Woman’s health, acute care/medicine and is a coil fitter.  

In addition to this role she works as one of the Bristol Training Programme Director helping to train the next generation of GPs which she loves. She is a GP trainer and is looking forward to supporting GP trainees here at Fallodon Way. 

In a past life she studied mathematics and worked in actuarial investment. 

She has two children who keep her on her toes! When she does have time to let her hair down she loves walking, mountain biking, enjoying the many lovely eateries in Bristol, and tending to her garden (the bits that haven’t been invaded by kids toys!)
