Women's Health
Women experience different health and wellbeing issues during their lives.
The links below will take you websites which brings together information and signposting to local services and support services available in Bristol.

The Survivors Trust
The Survivors Trust works with survivors of rape and other forms of sexual abuse and provides counselling, therapeutic and support services.
The main aims of The Survivors Trust are to support and empower survivors of sexual violence by:
- Providing a collective voice and peer networking for members;
- Raising awareness about sexual abuse and/or rape and its effects on survivors, their supporters and society at large;
- Informing acknowledgement of, and effective responses to, rape and sexual abuse on a local, regional and national level.
The Survivors Trust offer trauma-informed information cards to patients, that can be downloaded to be printed off or saved to a phone. Survivors can take these cards into their appointments to help inform their healthcare practitioner that they require some small adjustments to their care and a trauma-informed approach. There is a hope that these cards will help to empower survivors and make appointments that are potentially anxiety-inducing, a little more comfortable. The cards, as well as additional information can be found on The Survivors Trust wesbite (The Survivors Trust)
